Anonymous asked: Thank you very, very much! I've checked out some random pose generators and now I'm just itching to draw. Do you have any advice on how to develop a personal style? If I may ask, what are you planning to major in?
Go for it! On developing a personal style, I feel that it is a mixture of what really inspires you or gives you a good feeling heh. Sometimes colours, and sometimes an expression or gesture. I mentally compile attributes from the work of artists/writers/movies/music that I like, and elements of their work may or may not be apparent in my stuff. An idealistic approach to the way you view a certain feature in the face, or anything you observe—can be reinterpreted or exaggerated in a way you see most pleasing, and I find that is the start of building a personal style.
And, I’m a 3rd year student in the graphic design/visual communication program in college, so…that is my major. :D
